• The Data Controller is Arts Council England, 14 Great Peter Street, London SW1P 3NQ. All references in this document to the 'Arts Funding System' (AFS) refer to Arts Council England and its Regional Offices. The composition of the AFS may vary from time to time in accordance with public funding, lottery guidance and legislation (but a current list is available from the IT department at the above address);
• Organisations are responsible for the data that they enter onto the database and for its accuracy;
• Organisations are able to access all the data that they enter onto the database via the website www.arts-info.org.uk;
• The data you enter as an organisation on the arts-info.org database will be available to your local authorities and to the AFS only. Other organisations registered with art-info.org will have access to aggregated data only;
• Organisations who are not registered with arts-info.org will not have access to the database;
• It is intended that data will be used in an advocacy role, to make the case for further investment in the arts at a local, regional and national level.
• The data available to local authorities and Arts Council England will not be used for making funding decisions.
